Data minimisation is the default. QUANT asks for the least it can work with, and holds it for the shortest time that is useful.
What QUANT collects
Only what a feature needs to work. Without an account, QUANT collects nothing on a server: your tasks, memories and journeys stay in your own browser.
With an account: your profile, the memories you choose to save, your tasks and journeys, and operational counters about provider calls — model, duration, cost. Never the contents of a prompt.
What QUANT never collects
Payment details — a payment provider holds those, never QUANT.
Precise location, biometrics, contacts, browsing history, or device identifiers beyond an ordinary session cookie.
Health, financial, relationship, religious or political information inferred from a conversation. If it comes up, it is used for that answer and not kept.
Memory is opt-in
QUANT does not quietly learn things about you. Every memory it holds was put there deliberately, is visible on one page, and can be paused or deleted individually.
Pausing a memory stops QUANT using it without deleting it.
Children
KidSafe runs stricter rules. There is no persistent memory for a minor — that is enforced in the database, not just in the app.
Guardians can see the categories of anything that was blocked. They never see conversation content.
QUANT never encourages secrecy from a parent, guardian or teacher, never encourages dependency, and never discusses money products with a minor.
AI providers
When a provider is connected, it receives only the messages needed for that request plus QUANT's instructions. Not your memory list, not your tasks, not your identity.
Requests are server to server. A provider never sees your browser, and your browser never sees a provider key.
Analytics
A fixed list of product events with non-identifying values — that a plan was requested, not what the plan was about. Prompt contents cannot be attached, and the code enforces that rather than relying on care.
Deleting your data
Individual memories and tasks can be deleted one at a time. Everything held on your device can be cleared in one action from Settings.
With an account, deleting it removes your profile, preferences, conversations, memories, tasks, journeys and creations in a single cascade. Anonymous operational counters remain, with your identity removed; they have never contained content.
